A person does not have to be an arbitrator to become a Member.

However to become an eligible arbitrator under the association's rules, the person must have completed the Association's arbitration course or an equivalent training course and must have a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience.

New members must be sponsored by at least two Members of the Association.
